A Dandy Ridge Dumpsters roll-off loaded with storm and yard debris in Jefferson County, TN

East Tennessee sees its share of rough weather. From summer thunderstorms and high winds whipping around Douglas Lake to the occasional ice storm or even a tornado, we know how quickly things can get messy. When a storm rolls through and leaves its mark, cleaning up the debris and damage can feel like a huge job. That's where Dandy Ridge Dumpsters comes in. We're a locally owned company right here in Dandridge, run by Jason Martin, and we're ready to help folks in Jefferson County and towns like Jefferson City, Morristown, White Pine, New Market, Sevierville, Newport, Kodak, and Knoxville get things back to normal.

What kind of storm debris can you toss?

After a storm, you're often left with a pile of stuff that needs to go. We've seen it all. Out in the yard, you might have downed limbs and entire trees, snapped fence sections, or even a damaged shed. If the house took a hit, you could be dealing with torn-off shingles and other roofing material, ruined drywall and flooring from water damage, or soaked furniture and carpet that just can't be saved. A roll-off dumpster is the quickest way to get all that junk off your property and out of your way. (Our what-goes-in rundown covers the edge cases.)

Picking the right size for your cleanup

Choosing the right size dumpster means you get the job done without paying for more than you have to, or having to rent a second box. We offer two main sizes that handle most storm cleanup jobs.

Our 15-yard dumpster is a good choice for smaller cleanups. If you've got a yard full of limbs after a wind storm, or just need to clear out a smaller section of water-damaged material, this box will usually do the trick. It rents for $450 for 7 days.

For bigger jobs, like major damage, gutting a few rooms, or heavy restoration work, our 20-yard dumpster is probably what you'll need. This one runs between $375 and $475 depending on how long you need it, or you can get it for $649 monthly if you're looking at a longer project.

Every rental includes pickup and disposal of up to 1 ton of weight. It's worth remembering that storm-damaged material, especially anything soaked by rain or floodwater, can get very heavy. Wet wood, drywall, and carpet weigh a lot more than dry stuff. If your load goes over the included ton, there's an overage charge. For folks in Jefferson, Hamblen, or Cocke County, it's $85 per extra ton. A bit farther out, it's $125 per extra ton. We use exact scale weight, so you only pay for what you actually haul.

Yard and tree cleanup

When high winds or an ice storm hit, trees and branches are often the first to go. Clearing a yard full of fallen limbs, snapped branches, or even entire trees can be a back-breaking job. Instead of making countless trips to the dump in your truck, just toss it all in a roll-off dumpster. We'll drop the box right where you need it, and you can fill it up with all that green waste. That makes quick work of clearing out your yard so you can get back to enjoying your property around Douglas Lake.

Water and structural damage

Storms don't just hit the yard, they can do real damage to your home or business. Water damage from heavy rains, roof damage from high winds, or structural issues from falling trees can mean tearing out a lot of material. Ruined drywall, soggy insulation, warped flooring, soaked cabinets, and waterlogged furniture all need to go. Restoration crews and tree-service companies around here run with us because we deliver quickly and swap full dumpsters for empty ones fast. They need to keep their projects moving, and we make sure they've got a box when they need it. If you're gutting a room or dealing with a major renovation after a storm, a 20-yard dumpster is usually the way to go. It holds a lot, and we'll get it out of your way when you're done.

What can't go in the dumpster

While our dumpsters can handle most storm debris, there are a few things we can't take. Hazardous materials, wet paint, and chemicals are prohibited. If you have appliances or tires to get rid of, give us a call first. We can often help you figure out how to dispose of those items properly, but they can't just be tossed in with the rest of the debris. Our what goes in page has the full list.

When a storm leaves a mess, Dandy Ridge Dumpsters is here to help you clean it up. We serve all of Jefferson County and the surrounding towns, from Jefferson City to Morristown, White Pine, New Market, Sevierville, Newport, Kodak, and Knoxville. When your cleanup is ready to roll, give Jason a call or text at (865) 352-1889, or book online. We'll get a box out to you so you can get your property back in shape.
