What we can't take (and why)
This is the important part, for everyone's safety and for keeping our local area clean. Certain hazardous materials absolutely cannot go into our dumpsters. This isn't just our rule; it's about federal and state regulations, landfill requirements, and protecting our crew and the country we live in, especially around Douglas Lake.
Here's the list of what's prohibited:
- Wet or liquid paint: If it's dried up and hardened, that's usually okay, but liquid paint has to be disposed of properly.

- Car batteries and propane tanks: Both can be hazardous if not handled right.
